DINOSAUR DIORAMA

TA DA!!! This is Noah's Diorama Project. We have been working together on it for over a week. A little here and a little there. That way it wasn't so much to do all at once. He and I had a good time painting and coming up with ideas. Eve and Amelia wanted so badly to paint too, we had to keep them out of our way. Noah did most of everything except the cutting I did most of that. He picked out some rocks and we hot glued those on. You can't really see them in the photos. I think they are being judged so I hope he does well. It was fun to do this project together. Picture at the bottom (since I can't get a picture attached to this post.)

Officially a thumb sucker

I guess it's official now...I have a thumb sucker. Noah didn't take a pacifier nor did he suck his thumb. Both s have had pacifiers and were hard to break from them. Infact Amelia still has one for naps and bed time. But Ethan looks like he prefers his own thumb. Check out the photo at the bottom.

Our Song

When Chris and I were dating one of the first things we ever did was go to a singles dance. Of coarse we were in Utah so there were always plenty to go to and lots of people there. One of the first slow dances we ever danced to was Alphaville's "Forever Young". I don't think we ever really decided that we have a song that is just "our song", but every time I would here that song it would take me back to when we were dating. I guess a few years ago I mentioned that song to Chris and we decided it would be our song. We don't here it very often on radio and in fact we don't own a copy of the song either. I found it and added it to my playlist here so you can here our song. Do you and your honey, sweet heart, or loved one have a special song?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy 2008!!! We have had a wonderful 2007, and hope 2008 will be just as great! Our Christmas day was wonderful. Noah was up early at 5 a.m. He then went and got the girls up. They had a ball going through their stockings and seeing what Santa had brought. We were done and dressed and ready to head to Grandma and Grandpa Argo's for the traditional Christmas breakfast by 7:45. We arrived just in time as breakfast was just being started. We opened presents from the rest of the family, Ate a Yummy breakfast, visited with family, met Bobby's (my brother) girl friend and just had a marvelous day. The day after Christmas we cleaned up the mess we had left the morning before. The kids played and Chris worked that night. Thurs. I packed up my crew again and went back to Winchester to spend the next 3 days for our Family reunion. Chris got there Fri. morning after work. We enjoyed seeing all the cousins. Boy, has our family grown. Just from one woman came 3 kids, 24 grandkids, 22 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way. Neat!! We loved spending the time together.

1st Semester Down 3 More to Go

Today was Chris' nursing final!! He just checked his posted grade on the internet this evening and he has passed with a good solid B. Congradulations!!!! Whew!!! 1 Semester down, now only 3 more to go. He is looking forward to the Holiday break and resting his poor brain. I'm amazed at the amount of information he has learned, while keeping up a full time job and doing basket ball and family. Thank you for your prayers for him and our family. We will need them again next semester. Keep it up!

Glory to the Newborn King

Was the theme for the the 3rd Annual Christmas Festival hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which we attended on Saturday Evening. The Choral Concert was WONDERFUL. It was about 30 minutes with about 7 songs and a small orchestra. The spirit was wonderful. My sisters Heidi, Kim, Emily, and Ashley were able to come down and go with us. They were a great help with the kids. Chris was on call for the hospital here in town so was unable to go with us. We looked at all the other exhibits. They had the gym full of all different kinds of Nativity Sets and one cool train set. Eve and Amelia were fascinated with that. They took free family photos that were ready in 30 min. There was also 3 nativity scenes depicted with live people and a short video to watch. A great evening. Wish you all could have come too.
