Up till now, whenever I have bathed Ethan, I just lay him in the tub and run water, clean him up and get him out, never letting the tub fill up. Well last night, Amelia didn't want to take a bath with Eve. So Eve took one by her self and I put Ethan in with Amelia. Now that he is very steady sitting up I felt comfortable having a couple of inches of water in there. Amelia thought it was great. Ethan's bottom lip quivered for a few minutes then he got comfortable and started checking out the water and toys. I even layed him on his belly to see what he'd do. He has always liked taking his baths and last night turned out no different. I can't believe how big he is already. He is one cute little boy. I love his blue eyes. I can't wait to scrap book these.

We didn't blow away
The wind is still blowing outside but lots better today than yesterday. I watched a friends son who is about 2 years younger than Noah yesterday. I decided to load everyone up and go to the playground at Noah's school since they are all out on spring break. The kids had a blast and I got some exercise. They have a paved track around the play ground. No matter where I was I could see them. Of coarse I forgot my camera. By the time we dropped Wyatt off and got back home we looked like we'd stood outside while a hurricane passed by. The wind was blowing constantly at about 20-30 miles an hour. Well maybe not constantly at 20-30, but it gusted that high A LOT. I felt like I had wind burn on my cheeks. Today has been more rain and more wind. But tomorrow is supposed to be sunny. I had my heat off the last 2 days and it got to warm in here while I was making dinner I opened up some windows. It has cooled off quite a bit. I made home made chicken pot pies. I don't know if the kids have ever had the ones from the store. I had the tins and left over veggies so I gave it a try. Eve really enjoyed helping with the rolling pin. Noah eventually came in and wanted to help. He was our cutter, cutting off the excess dough. Mia was sleeping during it all. We had some black berry pie filling and made 2 small blackberry pies. They all turned out perfect. YUM!!!

Hard to Believe
Hello All!! I finally have been able to put on some videos. YEAH!! I've been wanting to for a while but I have to do it from Chris' laptop computer. He takes it with him to work at night and the only time I have to mess around with it is at night. He got home earlier from school than I had expected so I decided now was as good a time as any. We had a lot of rain today and this afternoon when it cleared the girls had a ball playing in the puddles. They were a muddy mess from head to toe and went straight to the bathtub and into jammies after that. This clip is fairly early on in there playing. I had my batteries out of my camera charging or I would have gotten more pictures when they came in. At one point the were bent over sticking their hair in the water too. I also add a video from a few weekends ago when we had the snow. Chris took a short video of the girls in the back yard. They didn't stay out side long. It's hard to believe that both of these are in the same month. I hope you enjoy my 2 rascals. Oh!! and go down and turn off the music so you can hear the clips better.

Is Spring Here Yet!!
Well, Last weekend we got a dusting of snow. I was hoping for more, but this is south Tennessee, what do you expect. The girls got bundled up and went out to play in it. I think the anticipation of playing out in the snow was better than actually being out there for Amelia. She doesn't like the cold. Eve kept saying she wanted someone to go out with her. We've gradually had a warm up and today will be in the 50's. I think the weather man said we would reach 70 on Thursday. We picked up some flower seeds and some bulbs and I'm anxious to get digging around in the dirt. Now that the time has changed I might have some time in the evening to get started on the front flower beds. I will have to wait a while longer to get to the garden area since it is to wet to run the tiller. I'm ready for SPRING, And all the new things that come to life.

Book Tag
I was tagged by my cousin Carrie. I think this is interesting to see what we all read. So here is how it works.
1. Pick up the nearest book (that has at least 123 pages)
2. Turn to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the next 3 sentences
5. Tag 5 other people
Since I was sitting at my computer with a whole book case right next to me, I opted to get up and go get a book that I actually am reading. It is "The Power of Positive Parenting"
Page 123 line 6 says..."Once Parents are able to effectively employ these principles and strategies, the environment becomes much more pleasant, and behavior falls into line. Remember, behaviour is largely a product of its immediate environment. As the environment improves behavior will soon improve."
I tag my friend Trudy and Dani. Like you Jodie, everyone else I know who has a blog has been tagged already, so Trudy and Dani, your it.

Laundry Room Project
Here are some pictures of the laundry room before we started our project. Mostly you can just see the huge amout of clutter and junk that filled the little room. I think on some of the pictues you can see the old floor. Very out dated and ugly. We started this project last Wednesday when the Young Men from church came over and helped tear out the floor. They had a great time and were a big help. BUT, one of the YM broke one of the hot water lines, so Chris was going to have to replace it. No big deal. Thursday evening Chris goes to Lowe's with a friend who has a truck and gets all the supplies. I go to a friends and take a hot shower. Friday, I went and picked out some vinyl then I took the 3 little one and went to Mom's to spend the night, while Noah and Chris work some more on getting the floor ready to be layed. Saturday morning, a good friend came to the house to help Chris at about 8:30 a.m. and stayed till about 2p.m. Noah also was a big help. They got all of the sub flooring done and Chris was going to cut the vinyl but rolled it out and it was not the size they said . I payed for a 9x12 and it actually was a 9x10 1/2 piece. So that was going to have to wait until monday and we were dissappointed that the hot water heater still was not goin to be hooked up. So the girls and I bathe at the ARgo's and come home Saturday night and head home so we could go to church Sunday. After church on Sunday we went back to the Argo's. The house was just too much to look at. Monday (thank goodness Chris was on spring break from school this week)we took the vinyl back and got another piece. Came home and got that cut and layed down and the hot water heater back in and hooked up. The pipe underneath the house that Chris had to replace didn't hold and water was leaking everywhere. We got the water to the whole house turned off and he got that fixed, but in the mean time on one of his trips under the house he clipped another pipe and broke it. So then we had to fix that. After that was ALL done and Chris was filthy and gross we turn the hot water heater on and wait and wait and STILL NO HOT WATER. Hmmmm, what is the problem here!!!!! Well, apprantly you have to fill the heater up first before you turn the power on to it or you will burn up the elements. Well, so guess what. We had burned up the elements. By now it is 8:30 at night. Chris goes down to the hospital to take a shower in the men's locker room. I was feeling pretty gross my self since I had last showered Sat. night. I took my ponytail down out of my hair and my hair stayed. So I knew I had to at least wash my hair in the cold water. I leaned over into the shower, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It was freezing. I decided I would have to be super quick our I'd end up with hyperthermia. I shampooed then rinsed as fast as I could. Through a towel around my head and boiled some water so I could wash my face and stuff. Then I went to comb my hair out and realized I didn't condition my hair. ooops!! It was going to be really hard to brush so I got it wet again in the cold water, conditioned it, then rinsed it out with the hot water I had boiled. Whew!!. Tuesday morning after we got the heater drained and the elements out and Noah to school we packed up and headed to Huntsville, to the closest Lowes. We got what we needed. Came home filled the heater back up, THEN turned the power on and in about an hour or so we had hot water. Hallaluja!!!! We then layed down the base boards and shoe molding. Next came puting the washer, dryer and freezer back in without tearing the floor. We managed to get that done. And now we like it sooooo much with all the other junk in there, like the food storage stuff, we have to figure out what to do with it all now. Most of it is still sitting on the dinning room table. But Chris took a hot shower before he left for work and I have done 2 loads of laundry and run the dish washer and will go take a shower my self in a while. So all is right in the Beckstead's world now. I know this is long and I'm putting a slide show of the pictures together. Hope you enjoyed our week long adventure.
